There are a couple of problems trying to run gourmet from CVS:
__init__.py is missing in src/lib/plugins/import_export/gxml_plugin
Documentation needs to be updated to indicate that intltool is required.
None of the .gourmet-plugin.in files in the import_export directory are
being copied to .gourmet-plugin files in the installation, so gourmet
doesn't find the plugins. Putting them in place manually allows them to
be found. gourmet does complain about the archive_plugin not being
found.
I haven't tried to track things down yet, but I imported a gxml file
with 8441 recipes. By the end of the import, memory usage (according to
top) was 928MB virtual, and 344MB resident. That usage didn't drop
after the import finished, so there are some resources not being freed.
Also, when I closed the main window for gourmet, the process was not
terminated.
