I'm sorry for the delay in response.

I just check our installer on a Windows machine with JRE 6 (no JDK) and it runs with no problems.
Could you please tell my what platform do you use - Windows, Mac or Linux/Unix and what JRE you had before you installed JDK ?

OK, I figured it out.

You might want to post this on the download
page, because few users will have any idea
that they need to do this.

JDK is Java Development System.
It's free on the Sun web site:

http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

After installing Caiss, I tried to run it, but got the message
"JDK 5.0 or newer cannot be found on your machine".
Apparently something is missing from the package,
or from the instructions. Thanks in advance for advice.
