Calc, delete specified range of rows or columns

Hello Openoffice community!

How could I delete specified range(eg, from row 20 to row 6200) of
rows or columns? sometimes my spreadsheet has thousands of rows and
select and delete them is a pain.

Use the 'Name Box' to select the range, rows, or columns you want to delete.

I have managed to create a name for a range. But How can I delete the range?

Select it in the Name Box (the one to the left of the formula field).
Then hit the Delete button (or Backspace).
