Call closed by callee and ICMP port unreachable messageHi,
I encounter a problem with Ekiga. I'm in a LAN, all my Ekiga softphones act as a client, registered on a Call Server. When I place a call between my Softphones and if I stop the call by the caller, no problem. If I place a call and I stop the call by the callee, the message BYE sent by the callee is not received by the caller and a port unreachable message is received in Wireshark. What can I do? Thank you, Best regards -- David JARDIN Student in 2nd year of Master "Information Security and Cryptography". Very interesting. Could you send us a -d 4 output from both parties (see wiki for how to do it)? Maybe wireshark capture is interesting too, we will see... -- Eugen _______________________________________________ ekiga-list mailing list ekiga-list@... http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/ekiga-list |

Re: Call closed by callee and ICMP port unreachable messageHI,
Thank you for your anwser. I forgot to say, I'm on Ubuntu Hardy Heron and I use the 2.0.12 version. Unfortunatly I am not able to execute Ekga or to get the Wireshark capture. I'm not physically where the problem occured. I know you can hardly help me in those conditions but I posted on the mailing list with the hope it was a known issue. Thank you anyway David JARDIN On Fri, Jun 19, 2009 at 10:59 AM, Eugen Dedu <Eugen.Dedu@...> wrote:

No, it is not a known issue. Then we need to wait... In the meantime, you could try ekiga v3 (unless if it does not work in your case). > Thank you anyway > > David JARDIN > > On Fri, Jun 19, 2009 at 10:59 AM, Eugen Dedu < > Eugen.Dedu@...> wrote: > >> David Jardin wrote: >> >>> Hi, >>> >>> I encounter a problem with Ekiga. >>> I'm in a LAN, all my Ekiga softphones act as a client, registered on a >>> Call >>> Server. >>> When I place a call between my Softphones and if I stop the call by the >>> caller, no problem. >>> If I place a call and I stop the call by the callee, the message BYE sent >>> by >>> the callee is not received by the caller and a port unreachable message is >>> received in Wireshark. >>> >> Very interesting.
