The Srijan Awards (Extended Deadline: November 6, 2009)
Nominations for the Srijan 2009 Microfinance & Financial Inclusion Awards
are open and are fast rolling in! Organized by Intellecap and Standard
Chartered Bank these Awards aim to recognize institutions in the following
four categories:
1. Client-centric Product/Service by an MFI Award - Will recognize
microfinance institutions with stellar client focused practices
2. Emerging MFI Award - New emerging business models in existence between 6
months to 3 years with a high level of social impact and the ability to
scale.
3. MFI Transparency Award - Will recognize initiatives and practices within
an MFI that allows it to be more transparent and eventually fairer to its
clients.
4. Technology Innovation Award - Innovations in technological
advancement/application/creation by microfinance institutions or service
providers that have the ability to achieve greater financial inclusion.

Organizations can nominate themselves for up to two award categories only.
