Calling all Mac Owners (for test)

Hi guys-

For i386'ers...

Well, I think I might have finally been able to force (painfully) my leopard build box to build a tiger-compatible build (setting -isysroot and watching ALL dependent packages being built by macports).

Please, if you would, test out:

http://tim.homeunix.com/files/picard_0.11/picard_i386_libofa94_tiger.dmg
http://tim.homeunix.com/files/picard_0.11/picard_i386_libofa94_tiger.md5

Again, if you have a tiger box, PLEASE TEST THIS and let me know what you find!

Thanks
Tim

(Maybe these files could be copied to the musicbrainz server - I don't know how well my little server will perform hosting files).

Has this ever worked on the mac?
what device name are you guys using?
What process do you use to unmount the disk so that picard can use it?

Thanks
Tim

Thanks Paul.

I am very familiar with the dl* man pages.
I guess I failed to mention that I've already fixed the problem below
and moved passed to actually trying to test the feature (disc id).
I noticed that I had to manually find the superdrive drive (df and
look for mounted music cd) and manually umount (sudo umount /Volumes/
SomeCdIHadLyingAround) to allow Picard to have access to the drive.

I was wondering what everyone else was doing.

Hi, I have a mac running tiger and it's been months I've downloaded this application, my apologies for not giving a feedback earlier... well your tiger dmg worked greatly for me, so if you can put this on musicbrainz.org for download please do so since it took me quite a while to find it in here. Thank you
