Can't see everything in root of my app?

I notice that I can't see the tmp directory for cache, I can't see the Capify file for capistrano, etc.



All I see are rake and readme.   Why?



Why doesn't the project show everything in my root directory?  How can I view those files.  I did a search on my project for capify and it can't find the file specified.  I look in my root in shell and see it perfectly.



I should be able to see the root of my directory.  Any ideas?
