Can I build a new version of mail plugin this weekend?

Two questions:

1/ Can I build a new version of the mail plugin this weekend (0.7)?

This will include the fix on trunk that I put in for casting exceptions on some JVMs. (see http://fisheye.codehaus.org/browse/grails-plugins/grails-mail). I've run it locally for some time without incident.

2/ As an aside, what is the etiquette around doing a release on a plug-in other than my own?

Thanks,
Dave.

Go for it. The etiquette is to ask the original author. In this case I
am the original author and I'm quite happy for you to do a release
