When building libglade2-2.6.2-2 on OS X 10.5.4, I get:
i686-apple-darwin9-gcc-4.0.1: libXdamage.1.1.0.dylib: No such file or
directory
i686-apple-darwin9-gcc-4.0.1: /usr/X11/lib/libXdamage.1.1.0.dylib: No
such file or directory
The instances of libXdamage on my system are:
/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.5.sdk/usr/X11/lib/libXdamage.1.1.0.dylib
/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.5.sdk/usr/X11/lib/libXdamage.1.dylib
/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.5.sdk/usr/X11/lib/libXdamage.dylib
/usr/X11/lib/libXdamage.1.0.0.dylib
/usr/X11/lib/libXdamage.1.dylib
/usr/X11/lib/libXdamage.dylib
/usr/X11/lib/libXdamage.la
Somehow I do not have the 1.1.0 version installed in the proper place.
According to the following message, the problem is due to Xcode 3.1,
which is installed on my system:
