Cannot create filters

Hi,
since Version 0.96.6 I cannot create Filters. If I push the "create
filter"-button, the PC-speaker beeps and nothing happens. I removed
~/.gtk-gnutella but that doesn't helped.
gtk-gnutella --version outputs this:
        gtk-gnutella/0.96.6-16301 (2009-03-29; GTK2; Linux x86_64)
        GLib 2.18.4
        Gtk+ 2.14.7
        GNU TLS 2.6.6
