Case sensitivity.Hi,
I noticed that searching files using the search widget is case sensitive. Would it make sense that it is case insensitive? -prakash ps: hope this is not a repost, my first & second attempt did not go through. Re: Case sensitivity.Hi Prakash,
The by default selected Smart Uppercase option treats upper case entered characters differently than lowercase characters: you can, for example, type MW to select MainWindow.java. What characters did you enter and what file name you've tried to match? -- Best regards, Thomas Singer ============= syntevo GmbH http://www.syntevo.com http://blog.syntevo.com Prakash Nadar <gpnadar@...> wrote: > Os is windows xp. > I managed to change the case sensitivity and it works now, the default was > Smart Uppercase. not sure wht it does but it did not work for me. > > Thanks, > -prakash > > > > > ________________________________ > From: syntevo Support <smartsvn@...> > To: smartsvn@... > Sent: Friday, September 4, 2009 10:41:19 AM > Subject: Re: [smartsvn] Case sensitivity. > > > What operating system you are using? Re: Case sensitivity.Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I havent been checking this mailbox for a while. anyway, Our developement environment is CPP and not Java. Class name is ThisIsAFooClass and the file name is thisisafooclass.cpp I typed, actually copy pasted the class name into the search box. Not sure how many people enters search string as MW for MainWindow. I would hope that the smart search would do case insensitive search and also smart search and show the result of both. -prakash ________________________________ From: syntevo Support <smartsvn@...> To: smartsvn@...
