Dear all,
We use Rife as part of our web system and had an issue the other day
that I am not sure how to solve.
Basically, one of our servers run out of disk space and so went a bit
screwy. This then caused logins to fail in Rife. The exception raised
was a ContinueSessionErrorException which I think was to do with not
being able to write to the Database (I don't have the full exception
trace unfortunately but when I have seen this before it was due to
that so I thinks its likely to be the same thing).
The problem is that the exception trace was quite extensive (I agree
in general this is a good thing!). The trace seems to expose database
statements etc.. and quite a lot of the inner workings of the system.
I was wondering whether there is a quick and simple way to catch these
exceptions and then output a bland "system down" page instead. I have
looked through the authenticated class but none of the hooks seem
appropriate and hence thought I would stick a post on here to see if
anyone else had come across stuff like this before.
Thanks a lot for your help.
