Hi!

Yes, I think so.

Eckhart has registered it, I assume we'll be there. Any news on that, Eckhart?

Eckhart does not seem to be subscribed to this list. At least, not with
the address he used the last time when he posted on kde-promo.

Cool.
I think I'll have time this year to be there.

he is now. :-)

Linux New Media told me on December 22nd that due to the financial crisis
companies delay their decisions about participation, and the size of the
project area depends on that. Therefore, they haven't decided about which
projects participate yet.
Amarok is suffering from that uncertainty as well.

Current status of the booth planning can always be found at [1].

Eckhart

Oh, already so many. Usually there was always a shortage in booth staff, has
that changed ? Or is it because it is cebit ?

it looks to me like situation has changed a bit. Stefan and Felix dedicate a
lot of time to events, and it looks like they have set fire on Casper as well.

However, I'd like to have five to six people for every day, so that still
leaves an open place for you. :-)

Unfortunately I'm not able to guarantee any accomodation yet (due to lack of
confirmation), so this is still preliminary planning.

Hi

possible that Bart (Steccino) and I (CRAEW) will be at CeBit as well... if there is still some room left at the booth, that is...

We were thinking about coming in the weekend.  If necessary we can bring a cashbox with us  with change (though I think the Boothbox might already have one?)

Is it aloud to sell merchandise at CeBit?  I heard that is isn't...

You can count me in as well, at least till Saturday.
Let me know, if there's anything in preparation for the event I can do.

Will there be a 4.2 release party at our "headquarters" in Frankfurt ? :-)
(ok, different event, but so what ;-) )

I mean, you could just announce a place to meet that evening, and KDE people
from the area (this would include me) could meet and have dinner and a drink
together, or something. (no eV money involved)

Hi Alex :)

Sorry that I didn't react earlier, after 2 weeks of vacation I had
loads of things to take care off :).

I think that's a great idea. Hey, I'd love to have you over and host a
little party here!
Let's do that then on the 27th. We could do it here in the office (we
have a meeting room, buy beer and soft drinks and order pizza) or I
book a table at a pub. What would be better (it's my first release
event ;)) ?

Oh, that's a tuesday. Why do we release on tuesday ? Friday would be much
better for a release party ;-)

No idea.
I have also no idea who would come.
Can you announce it somewhere and see who registers ?
If we are only a 4 or 5 few people, a pub would probably be nicer. If we are
many, the office may be better ?

Any news on that?

And, have you already organized an accomodation? I guess this is
crucial since Cebit is huge and hotels tend to be very expensive
during that time.

Yesterday I met some folks from the regional FSFE group and they asked
if we would like to share an appartment with them for Cebit.
