Hello,

A colleague at work recently show me the CentOS Linux distribution
(which is quite nice).

I am concerned with some theme images which are really
Swirl-ish/Debian-ish. CentOS seems to have three themes, but only one of
theme is problematic.

I have attached to CD splash screen. see also:
 https://projects.centos.org/trac/artwork/wiki/Themes

And compare to
 http://www.debian.org/Pics/lennybanner_indexed.png
 https://penta.debconf.org/dc9_schedule/events/459.en.html

I believe that confusion isn't good for any of the projects.
What do you think about?.

I don't really think anybody would confuse CentOS and Debian because of
that theme.

Neither do I.  While they have a swirlish Design, it isn't that similar
to our "fuzzy" swirl.  Beside that they wrote in really big letters, who
they are ;)

Best regards,
