Certain Users Unable to login to SquirrelmailAfter doing a port upgrade on squirrelmail, I have few users (5) out of 200 users that are having issues login into their squirrelmail. The login takes longer than expected and time out after trying to login with an error message: Internet explorer cannot display the web page
That being said, every weekend around 9-10 am in the morning squirrelmail does not let people login with error message : ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server. I have tried to find out what the problem really is, but have not come to a resolution yet. I will like someone to help me in resolving this issue.
Thanks,

You don't mention anything about your system (which we often ask for, and even tell you about in the mailing list greeting), so I can only speculate. Courier-IMAP has a limit of 4 connections from each IP, which would generate a similar error message. Re: Certain Users Unable to login to SquirrelmailThanks Jonathan for your inquiry. I believe I have tried using the login of those users from multiple different computes. Probably, these users have their filters enabled which I have not checked. But every other things has being checked more than x number of times.
On the second response, this only happens on the weekend and that these users including myself are trying to access from our home computer. This only happens on saturday morning.
Now the problem is not an imap error, but a time out in trying to login to squirrelmail. At the end, a page cannot be display error message will show up.

Re: Certain Users Unable to login to SquirrelmailThanks. How can I disable it from the backend since the user is not able to login on to squirrelmail to reverse any filtering or spam enabling at the frontend. In other words, is there any special command that will help me disable the spam or filtering options.
Thanks,
