Changing the vertical location of hairpins in notation output

I'm working on SATB choral scores. I find that any crescendo & diminuendo marks that I use (i.e. the hairpins, < & > ) are vertically located in between the lyric and the staff for that vocal line.

This is not how choral music is usually printed. Normally the lyric is at the bottom, above it is the staff with the notes and above that again any < & > marks and annotations for that line.

Is there a way of making this happen in Rosegarden ?

I can do it indirectly by exporting to Lilypond, and then manually editing the Lilypond file. Using find & replace in a text editor to change every incidence of _\> to ^\> and _\< to ^\< has the desired effect but it would be nice to avoid this extra step.

Best wishes,

Short answer, no.

I'm really bogged down trying to do too many things at once, so would you mind
filing this as a feature request so it doesn't get lost?

This is an interesting topic that actually hits on all kinds of other issues
tangenitally, and it's worth having a big discussion.  I just don't have the
extra concentration to spare this morning.
