What this isn't:
-The actual Chaotic online component made by TC Digital and 4Kids
-Endorsed by 4Kids or TC Digital, or anyone that actually owns Chaotic
This
is a little hobby project that I've been working on since they announced that Chaotic was expected to be out in October. At that time it looked like a really long wait, and I needed something to pass the time (plus, maybe it'll help get some demo tournaments going, or at least get people playing more). Chaotic Printable Demo Online (CPDO, for short) is a module for the
Vassal Engine. A module is sort of like a virtual box that contains all of the pieces and stuff you'd need to play a particular game (in this case, the Chaotic demo they released back in...was it August?), and the Vassal engine itself is like a virtual card table that lets you play with those pieces with anyone over the Internet. In short, CPDO lets you play the Chaotic demo online against other people without the use of AIM.
After downloading the .zip file and unzipping it to wherever it is you want it on your system, please be sure to go in and double click the README.html file. This is the instruction manual, and you should read it all the way through before you post any questions. It should hopefully cover everything you need to know, but I will admit that I kinda grew impatient towards the end when I was writing and editing it, so the quality might be a little lower once you get near the end.
The download page for CPDO can be found
here.
