Hi,

We get Checksum mismatch exceptions if we try to checkout from (fsfs)
repositories created with subversion-1.2

Checksum  mismatchsvn: Checksum  SVNException: svn: Checksum mismatch while
reading representation

Any ideas?

We use svnkit-1.1.1.

For production use, I would recommend you to wait till 1.1.2 (this will
be a bugfix release) is released, I expect it to be published this week,
tomorrow or on Thursday.

Alexander,

we can wait until Thursday but on Thursday we must release our software and
the quality is of course very important for us.

Does it happen with the same repository as "checksum mismatch" error? I
suppose both could be caused by corrupt data in repository and having
this repository for testing will help a lot in reproducing and fixing
the problem.

Hello Zsolt,

Same for us. Public releases of SVNKit are always as stable as possible
at the moment, pass whole python tests suite and used extensively by our
team before being published. But you should agree that there couldn't be
100% bug-free guarantee for any software that is more or less complex.

What I would suggest you is to take 1.1.2 as soon as it published, test
it in your environment with your application (that could reveal bugs
specific for your environment) and in case no problems found put new
release into production. And if there are bugs or other problems -
you're welcome to report them here - we're always glad to help and eager
to make SVNKit as stable as it is possible.

as far as I know yes (but it is not our repository). The repository was
created with svn-1.2.x and CAN be checked out with svn-1.4 native clients.

If the problem is reproducible it will help if it will be possible to
get RO access to this repository or a copy of it. If not, whole
connection log for the failed operation (checkout) could help.
