Chiba 3 beta 2 released

Hi,

we're happy to announce that we've released the beta 2 of our new
Chiba 3 platform. Main goal of this release was to get stable again on
the brandnew Javascript layer and to improve conformance with regard
to the XForms 1.1 test suite. Dozens of improvements have been done
and all controls are now up and running.

We appreciate your feedback and suggestions.

A) How easy is it to put FCK back in as I have moved all my code, users
etc to expecting it?

B) Is the web part still running as a filter etc? i.e. so I can simply
set up the code to run the new stuff for testing.

That won't be hard. We just omitted applying the patch due to time
constraints. Components are now wrapped as Dojo dijits as any other of
the new controls and put under the package loading of dojo. That means
you can take full advantage of code compilation etc.

Yes, it's still the old filter though we have integrated uploading
capability into the filter instead of using an extra servlet. This
reduces the configuration clutter that's necessary in web.xml.
