Clack! While we're on the topic of iPhone titles, my first dip in the water's just been approved. http://elegiacdesign.com/clack I'm open to suggestions if anyone knows of any decent review sites I should be gifting a copy to.. Onwards and upwards, Christopher. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: pigmi-unsubscribe@... For additional commands, e-mail: pigmi-help@... |

Re: Clack! It looks quite fun! If I ever start buying iPhone apps I'll get it,
though don't know when that's going to be if ever. I love playing traditional puzzle and board games on the iPhone, especially when they have a unique touch to them. Perfect for standing in line at the store or on the train. Good luck with it! -Liza Quoting Christopher Phillips <shrydar@...>: > > While we're on the topic of iPhone titles, my first dip in the water's > just been approved. > > http://elegiacdesign.com/clack > > I'm open to suggestions if anyone knows of any decent review sites I > should be gifting a copy to.. > > Onwards and upwards, > Christopher. > > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: pigmi-unsubscribe@... > For additional commands, e-mail: pigmi-help@... --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: pigmi-unsubscribe@... Re: Clack!Going with a puzzle game is definately the right approach for the iphone I think. Something simple to kill time with. Can't really help with blogs though sorry.

Re: Clack! So let's talk price point. What was the decision to price it that way?
Or did Apple tell you to? > Yup, iPod touch or iPhone. It is more readable on an LCD but still a little harsh. get a video up on YouTube and make sure you include an authentic scream of frustration when you get stuck in a yo-yo cycle I have manfully put it away after only losing 10 minutes. For example I've seen quite a few articles saying that doubling the price point to US $2 is a pretty obvious move if you care about income rather than number of downloads, as the number of downloads decreases but doesn't come close to halving. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: pigmi-unsubscribe@... That's good to know - I'd heard from a couple of places that tier one (US $1) was a good place to start to get your numbers up, but hadn't managed to stumble across any discussions of elasticity. As it happens, I've not bought anything myself for more than that, and wasn't sure I'd created anything that merited a higher price than apps I'd bought in that tier. The short answer is - I didn't know any better. At this stage, I'm inclined to hold it at the current price for a week, increase it to $2, and see what happens. Apple pretty much leave you to your own devices (aside from messing with your release date, and arbitrarily withholding approval), so you're free to hoist yourself by your own petard. I'll switch over to the official icon for that once I get the licence agreement sent off, too. > get a video up on YouTube and make sure you include an authentic > scream of frustration when you get stuck in a yo-yo cycle *grin* It's on the list. > I have manfully put it away after only losing 10 minutes. Well done, and thanks for the sale. Christopher. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: pigmi-unsubscribe@...
