Clearing Memory in a CM11

I have been using my CM11 with heyu for a while now. Is there a
function in Mr. House to clear the memory in it so that I can have Mr.
House control everything?

I'm just working on my transition to Mr. House and am going through
all the config.

Thanks.

Clear the memory with Heyu.  Since Misterhouse doesn't use the CM11
memory you won't need to do it again.

I thought the memory is erased if the batteries are removed!?

With MH, no batteries are required.

In fact there is no function in MrHouse to clear the memory so it is
important
that you use heyu to clear the macros - otherwise you will have some very
strange
behavior (the interface doesn't pass incoming X10 message to the serial
interface if
it knows how to respond to them due to a resident macro) - it will take you
an age to
determine what has gone wrong .... several people have been down that
haunted (by macros past) house
route before. Clear it while it's fresh in your memory to do so!

Not so.  The CM11 memory is non-volatile EEPROM.  The sole purpose of
the batteries is to maintain the CM11 clock setting in the event of
an interruption in AC power when the CM11 is operated disconnected
from the computer.  But the CM11 clock is (normally) used only for
executing timers stored in the EEPROM memory, which Misterhouse
doesn't support.

ah, thanks for clarifying that Charles.
