Cobertura and Java Web Start

Sorry if this question has been asked before...

I've got a Java Web Start application being interfacing and downloading
from a JBoss server. I'm trying to instrument it with Cobertura. I'm
having trouble getting the program to run after instrumentation.

I've managed to strip the manifests out of the client jars from the
JBoss deployment directory, run Cobertura-instrument on them, and resign
the jars to avoid getting "unsigned classes" errors, but the program
dies almost immediately after starting.

Has anyone had any success instrumenting JWS applications?

I have gone through the pains of getting this to work.  I have to unsign the jars, and resign like you've done.  Then you need to make sure the client you are running the webstart application has the cobertura.jar file in the lib directory of your JRE.  Also make sure java is set to display the console so you can get better debug info.  This can be changed from the control panel.
