We've had a lot of spam on
http://codex.gallery2.org/ lately, and the next weapon in our arsenal is to disallow posting by registered users that do not have confirmed e-mail addresses.
I've enabled this feature and set everyone that currently has an account as 'confirmed', and added a note about this to:
This should be no change to anyone currently using Codex, but will require new users to confirm their e-mail before they can edit.
