Community site on Tiki 4 - some feedbackHi
Was checking the community site and noticed a few things: 1: http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-admin.php?page=textarea gives blank page, on dev and doc it is fine 2: http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-upload_file.php gives blank page, on doc it is fine 3: maybe this is a css thing, not sure: in the file gallery listing the description field is too narrow. When you have a long description the listing becomes weird as it is making too much linebrakes, http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-list_file_gallery.php?galleryId=4 4: a css impression: I think the module titles and the heading1 font size & being bold is too "massive", maybe it could be reduced slightly..the color -it is tiki-blue :)- for the left module title looks cool on dev and doc, whereas the white on community does not feel so right to me thanks&cheers, gezza ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial. I committed a fix for it (r 21290) and then we have a thread on cvs/ svn entitled "Gremlins in PHP BOM files" and i tried to make a script to search them out, but failed. The offending file was lib/wiki-plugins/wikiplugin_sharethis.php (although the img one was naughty too, it didn't seem to trash the page). Somehow doing svn up doesn't seem to correct this sometimes, so either delete that file and svn up, or edit it and save it as utf-8 without-bom > 2: http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-upload_file.php gives blank page, on doc > it is fine Have this file on my list anyway for this week - will get back to you > 3: maybe this is a css thing, not sure: in the file gallery listing > the description field is too narrow. Re: Community site on Tiki 4 - some feedbackhi jonny,
oh really ? my message and ohertel's reply: > > http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-admin.php?page=textarea returns WSOD for me :( > It's another case of PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 40961 bytes) Will check again memory usage, when home. Oliver so does this BOM cause memory limit exhausted ? luci On 11/09/2009 09:42 PM, Jonny Bradley wrote: > On 9 Nov 2009, at 13:53, gezza nagy wrote: > > >> Hi >> >> Was checking the community site and noticed a few things: >> > > Thanks! :) > > >> 1: http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-admin.php?page=textarea gives blank >> page, on dev and doc it is fine >> > > This is most likely due to a UTF-8 BOM encoded plugin file issue (took > me 6+ hours to track this one down a while back). > > I committed a fix for it (r 21290) and then we have a thread on cvs/ > svn entitled "Gremlins in PHP BOM files" and i tried to make a script > to search them out, but failed. > > The offending file was lib/wiki-plugins/wikiplugin_sharethis.php > (although the img one was naughty too, it didn't seem to trash the > page).
