Compact Flash Ethernet CardHi all. I need a compact flash Ethernet card to try an experiment with
my PDA. I know Socket communications makes one, and it's quite nice, I just can't justify the $120 price tag for this. Does anyone know of something decent, yet cheaper? If anyone has a used one I might be interested. My ideal specs would be something that will work with Windows Mobile 6.1, and something that has a dongle style connector or a tough looking jack. Thanks! RE: Compact Flash Ethernet CardI have a few USB Ethernet port/adaptors. I've never seen a CF one like the
below. Very cool, I wish I had a need for one ! Chris -----Original Message----- From: piclist-bounces@... Re: Compact Flash Ethernet CardWell, missed out on two auctions now. Sniping is rather annoying when
auctions end while you're at work. Ah well. Anyway, does anyone have any info on this guy: http://cgi.ebay.com/Compact-Flash-10Base-Ethernet-Card-New_W0QQitemZ260359655140 I can't find out any information as to if it'll be supported under Windows Mobile 6.1. For that matter, same question on this one: https://www.vfxweb.com/index.php?productid=10103 Thanks! You can use a sniping tool to take care of them when you're not at the computer. I'm sure Google can supply numerous free and for-pay options. - -Pete -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.9 (Darwin) iEYEARECAAYFAkmiE/AACgkQ8kSp3b4WtL/e3QCcC0JKcHvvnI9P+KEzbvGPFxCm i8IAnjhzzobCzSVKNybyU3BsFDGdmPJL =OLQ7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist |

OTOH, if eBay wanted to stop it, they could just require > each user to submit a one-time fixed maximum bid, with the deadline some random time > (30-90 min, for example) before the end of the auction. Or do it like a real auction, which ends if no-one enters a bid for a certain amount of time, the "going..... going..... gone!" bit. 10-15 minutes should cover it, but where's the fun in that. And yes, I'm one of the "bid once, bid late" crowd, the alternative is having some newbie up the bid in dollar increments, and they always manage to stop *just* before they hit your maximum.
