I have a CVS server, and with most of my netbeans projects that reside there everything works perfectly. I've used it for about 3 years with few problems.
Right now, I have about 7 projects in it, and one of the projects has been giving me incredible stress.
I don't know how, but something got screwed up with this project.
I can never commit the project, the cvs server always reports an authentication error. This couldn't be true, all my other projects commit just fine.
Since I still have the local copy, I tried removing the repository from the CVS, and started a new location.
Then, I combed through the netbeans project folder, and deleted all the CVS folders.
I figured that once I did this, I would be able to import this project anew. But Netbeans seems to think it is still associated with a CVS repo.
I don't have a long edit history with this project, but I just can't seem to get it back into the CVS.
Any tips? Please? I am at the point where I am considering trying SVN or something else. I am at wit's end with CVS and Netbeans. I tend to think it is more of a netbeans problem than CVS, but I love NB, it is a major timesaver for me, so I'd rather change source control if I must.
EDIT:
I also seem to be unable to change the CVSROOT on this project now. This is wack.
