Consolidation of KDE Promo web sites

At the moment we have at least three different places where we present KDE
Promo team information (http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/Promo,
http://spread.kde.org, http://events.kde.org). Neither of them appears to be
maintained very well.

So I would like to propose to consolidate this and collect all KDE Promo
related web pages on the KDE community wiki at
http://community.kde.org/Promo. This would be in line with the KDE Wiki
initiative (http://wiki.kde.org/) and make it easier and more central to
maintain the pages. We could retire the other three places in favor of the
central place in the community Wiki.

The Promo sprint is a great opportunity to get this done, and also fit in all
new content which is created during the meeting.

I think this would be another small but important step to get our web presence
under control. What do you think?

I say it is a good idea. community.kde.org seems like the right spot for promo. spread.kde.org never worked for me, techbase seems wrong.

BTW I will be a bit less approachable for the next days, unfortunately, as my PC at home is broken. Not my fault, I just replaced motherboard/cpu/memory/powersupply so what reason does it have to mis-behave?

Sounds good to me. The many *.kde.org places for promo stuff have been a
mystery to me.

I agree with this as well.  As a newer person on the team I've yet to even run across a lot of this material simply for lack of knowing it existed.  Can I preemptively volunteer myself to be one of the people who helps migrate this while we're at the meeting?  It seems like it would be a good way to help familiarize myself with what info is out there :)
