I tried to use GPSBabel to convert from a GoogleEarth file (.kml; extracted from the .kmx file) to a TomTom itinerary file (.itn) which are valid options in the application. The conversion appears to have run and even gave me the preview of the conversion (I assume) and it said it completed. When I closed the conversion, I checked the output file and it had 0 bytes.

Do I have to do another step or option to get the itinerary file? Am I missing something?

More information.  The .kml file has a route, tracks, and POIs.  This is the link to the .kmz file that I used.
