Hi all,
for a "quality of service" testing-toolkit, I am trying to convert a
G.726 - media stream to wav.
The background: The g726-32 is used as media format for VoIP (SIP)
communication. I record the stream using tcpdump and then I try to split
the media-stream with rtpbreak to get the raw-payload. I am not sure,
wheter rtpbreak is the appropriate tool for g.726 or not. For testing
reasons, I also extracted the raw-payload using wiresharks
RTP-export-function. The ugly result was (bit-identical) both the same.
Assuming, we have the payload extracted out of a PCAP-File, what
parameters are needed in sox to get the wav?
Thanks in advance
Michael
