Copy/Paste on OSX?

I'm running PHP-GTK 1 on MacOSX and have run into an interesting problem.

Copy/Paste works fine on OSX, but I have to use Control-C and Control-V for GTK
apps but Cmd-C and Cmd-V for other applications.

How could I go about changing this?
