setup-coreobject.h does only create the user (or rahter role) that
will be used to access the CoreObject db.
The database itself is created lazily the first time you start a
CoreObject-based application like Mélodie or CoreObjectExample.
The ugly warning comes from the fact there seems to be no way to check
whether a database exists for a given PostgreSQL server with libpq
API. At least I was unable to figure out how that could be done. The
only work around I have found is to try to access the database and see
whether it fails or not.
If someone how to do this properly, I would be interested by that.
