Folks:
It's getting to be that time. All of the major technical changes for
0.8 are in-place - everything from this point forward should be
bug-fixes. You can see the updated issue tracker at
http://www.k-3d.com/bugs/release-0.8.0.0.htmlNote that many of the older items in this list are probably
unreproducable, so the list isn't as long as it seems.
Many items are already spoken for, for example:
* Bart will take care of broken SDS and NURBS functionality.
* I will take care of selection regressions, OSX-specific problems, and
regression tests for the reference painters.
My hope is that we can address most of these issues by September 5th,
which is the next scheduled Bug Day. For some of the
harder-to-reproduce problems, having the entire community working on Bug
Day would be a big help, so please make it part of your schedule if at
all possible.
