Counting camping nights toward camping merit badge?

Has anyone else noticed the following with Troopmaster?  If I select "Scouts Having/Needing" and then "Camping MB", I get a set of numbers for camping nights are are still needed for the badge.  However, if I select "Activities->Individual Participation" for one of the boys and have it report "Camping", I get a different number of nights still needed; usually more nights needed than reported by "Having/Needing".

How is "Scouts Having/Needing" counting camping nights, anyway?

I have been very careful with the records: all summer camp weeks are marked as summer camp; cabin nights are so noted; and I always/only use numbers for the activity attendance -- never an 'X'.

The Changing requirements for Camping Merit Badge can give them credit
toward such as long as it meets the criteria for the badge.  The last
time I checked, there was a "Credit toward" selection for it as well.
In some cases, if you enter in that the event is 2 nights and put an X
in, it will count as two - but a number will not register.

That may be the problem.
