Archiva refuses to download this artifact because checksum is invalid.

I know I can tell Archiva to ignore checksum failures but I guess this is not the right way to do.

Is it possible to regenerate this checksum?

You can get this module from the Codehaus Maven repository at http://repository.codehaus.org/.

I'm using Ant+Ivy, but I believe that with Maven you can add a <repository> section something like this:
{code}
<repositories>
  <repository>
    <id>codehaus</id>
    <url>http://repository.codehaus.org</url>
  </repository>
  ...
</repositories>
{code}

Fetching from there worked for me using Ivy.
