Creating fixed-length files from java objects with smooks

Is it possible?

I'm using smooks to do the other way... i read a fixed length file and parse it into java objects... is it possible to do the opposite? can you guys give me some examples? i couldnt find any in the docs

At the moment, you need to apply a template to the Java object model to
produce whatever you want (XML, CSV... fixed length etc).  There are
loads of templating examples at smooks.org.
