Custom ftLibraryData and AJAX not playing well together

Hi All,

I have a type which has an array property (ftType="array") and in general works perfectly fine in the webtop with AJAX. The problem arises when I add my own specific "ftLibraryData" function (http://docs.farcrycms.org/display/FCDEV50/Library+Element) . When I add it, the panel no longer updates when the Library is closed ('complete"). The data is saved, so if I reload that wizard step everything works fine, and shows the things I just added to the Library. So in this sense, things still work. however, i'm also used to the ajax working.

Any ideas what could be wrong? I am sure that this is the problem, thought I don't know where to start tracing it in the JS (however much I know CF, I don't know AJAX / JS much..).

Forgot to add - once there are items showing, and I open the library again to deselect things, the AJAX updates as necessary. So, it just that adding doesn't work!
