I'm sitting here trying to make fontforge work with Python 3 -- the
initialization is very different from version 2's and I don't know
either. (Other parts of the porting are easy.) I decide to compile
small Cython programs (cython.org) to see what the C outputs look
like, because they are supposed to be good with either version of
Python. That's when it occurs to me that Cython might be another
approach to writing a Python interface for libfontforge.
