DBus notification whenever system is locked?

Hi,

I'd like to write a program that records whenever my machine is locked and
unlocked (i.e. CTRL-ALT-L in GNOME and KDE has got something similar I guess).
I'm wondering if there is any kind of DBUS notification/event that I can subscribe
to in order to detect these events in a desktop environment neutral fashion?
