Hi, everyone.

First, I made a mistake about the location. It is in Sterling.

As for the rest of the information, here is Rick's latest email on the
subject:

Winter is quickly upon us. Some of you will ride year round, All you need is
good antifreeze, good tires, and maybe some electric grips or electric
gloves. For the rest of you, If you do not want us to be working to get your
bike up and running as soon as the weather starts to get warm, you should be
sure to winterize it properly. This is especially true for all you racers
and trackday enthusiasts. Water wetter will freeze and corrode your cooling
system. Particles in your oil will settle and solidify. Your battery could
lose it's charge and may need to be replaced, or if stored outside, freeze
and cause major problems. Fuel will breakdown and gel, clogging your carbs
or fuel injectors!

Don't wait until it's too late! Call us today to schedule an appointment or
just drop by.

RnR Cycles can not only winterize your bike, but store it as well to make
room in that garage of yours for all your holiday gifts! Or, if your
significant other is none too fond of your bike, out of sight, out of
mind…at least until Spring hits! By storing your bike at RnR Cycles, your
tires will be taken care of, the bike will be protected from winter
elements, and best of all, the bike will be accessible to you! If it’s a
particularly warm day and you get the itch, come on by anytime during our
normal business hours, pick up your bike and go for a ride! The only thing
we request is that you always bring the bike back to us full of fuel.

All of this is done for only $400.00 with storage until April 1st which
includes the fuel stabilizer, oil, oil filter, and the battery tender lead.
We also offer free pickup within 10 miles of the shop.
> Rick Beggs has been offering prepared, monitored and secure winter storage
at his shop RNR Cycles, in Herndon for a number of years now.
>
>
>
> Drop it off, he preps it, keeps the battery on a charger, stores it, and
gets it ready for the spring. I believe you can take it out on nice days,
too. Like renting a winter garage.
> really have to spend
> to get it back to decent condition?
>
> If you have goodies on it, and don't want to keep it, i'd say take the
>
> 2800 is kind of high for an insurance buy back, but on the other hand,
> it depends on the

[Dave] I have to tentatively agree w/ Perry, that's my 1st thought as well.
Would you lose any money in Farkles, mods, upgrades, aftermarket stuff, etc?
How's the damage, purely cosmetic, or did it get run over too?

Really though, the question should be what are you looking to do bike wise?
Are you happy with the current mount, or thinking/lusting for another? If
the former, then you dance with the one who brung ya, so to speak. Else...
Look for another.
According to the security chief the camera does not show anything other than

Going north on Crystal Drive, just as you get to 20th Street, turn right into the apartment building parking area, then turn right again. Go straight down the ramp into the parking garage under Crystal Park 1, 2, 3, etc., going around the arm on the left. Don't park in a parking spot; park in the unused small areas around the elevators and columns. When leaving, go out the same way.

Many of us have done that for the last decade or longer, and no one's ever said a word to any of us.

Crystal City is one of the really neat places where they allow you to park for free on the end of those cut outs on Crystal Drive. Cars take the two spaces in the middle, the ones with the white bracket lines painted on the asphalt. I've always rode into the open space left over between the white bracket line and the corner. Sometimes there is a fire hydrant on that corner, I try to avoid them.
