DC inspection

Neither does DC. No emissions tests on bikes. Just a cursory "safety"
inspection every two years. It used to be every year when I first
moved here. Cabs are inspected every six months, although you'd never
guess, based on some of the filthy, broken-down, A/C-less jalopies
I've ridden in over the years.

DC cabs are in such bad shape in spite of the biannual inspections
because a majority of them apparently bribe DMV inspectors:
