Re: DD Client-I guess you are on the home LAN
you need to use the slug LAN address not the internet address as seen from outside your home -- In nslu2-linux@..., danandrews80 <danandrews80@...> wrote: > > > Hi > > I wonder if someone can can help me > > I have a NSLU2 and have unslung 6.8 installed, i use ddclient to upadte and > dyndns to access my slug over the internet. > > The problem is that i have just moved home from uni and now when i try to go > to my slug, it opens up my sagem router setup page, i have forwarded port > 1025 which is what i used before but it does not open, does anyone know what > i can do > > Thanks > -- > View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/DD-Client-tp23960775p23960775.html > Sent from the Nslu2 - Linux mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > |

You say you are forwarding port 1025, what is supposed to be listening on port 1025 on the slug? It would seem that the ddclient is working properly as you are at least getting to your network when you are tying to connect. It would appear that either what ever you are using to "go to your slug" is not trying to connect to port 1025, but rather port 80 (assuming the sagem router is listening on port 80), or that port 1025 is not really being forwarded to the slug. |
