Hello there,

I am trying to use DocBook DTD and Stylesheet in one of my project. I
downloaded the DTD and DocBook XSL stylesheets. I am trying to find
out which version of DTD that current version of Stylesheet work with.
I looked at the files in the downloaded files and searched the mail
archive, but I did not find the information. Would any one where to
find the information?

Sorry for asking this question.

Thanks
Jingjun

Hi,
The current version of the stylesheets should support all versions of the
DocBook DTD. The stylesheets have templates for all DocBook elements in
DocBook versions 4 and 5.  Because XSLT is template-driven, your document's
elements drive which templates are actually used.

If you are using DocBook 5, it is recommended that you use the namespace
version of the stylesheets (with -ns- in the distribution filename).  The
namespace and non-namespace versions of the stylesheets are identical except
the former adds namespace prefixes to all element matches.
