DTG inputI'm setting up our TM4/DotNet and under the Database Management, one
of the selections is DTG. I figure that DTG is Duty To God, but where is this information usually entered?? (I don't see it on the Scout screen at all.) It appears that it might be LDS-specific. If not, how are other Troops using it (as in what information do you gather, and where do you record it)? Thanks! |

RE: Re: DTG inputAs a counselor for multiple levels in the God and Country program for our
Church, I would point out that while the awards are encouraged and recognized by BSA, strictly speaking they are not reviewed or approved by Boy Scouts of America. They are reviewed according to the implementation method of the religious group sponsoring the award, and are awarded through that channel, not BSA. That being said, the only way I've seen to credit then in TroopMaster is via "advancement" - open the record for scout, hit the advancement button for individual advancement, then hit Special Awards. You won't find any of the God and Country awards listed, but in the middle of the special advancement menu you should see a button for "other". If you click it, it will open up and you can manually enter the name of an award, and once you do that and hit return you get a box to enter the date of the award. If anyone has another method, I'd be interested in learning about it. Bill Nelson From: TMTUG@... [mailto:TMTUG@...] On Behalf Of Tim W Sent: Tuesday, September 29, 2009 6:17 PM To: TMTUG@... It's not LDS related after all. I'll use the Define button to add a new special award for it and put it in. Thanks. |
