Thanks to Phil (halfmeg) supplying the page images,
the MVS Data Management Services Guide manual
viewable from softlib.org has now been OCRed and
rendered into a searchable PDF downloadable from
http://www.prycroft6.com.au/misc/
and weighs in at around 1.8 million bytes.

This manual is a "must read" for anyone trying to
come to grips with MVS nonVSAM access methods.
If you are new to MVS and trying to understand
the prevailing data models, or are about to try your
hand at coding Assembler I/O macros for the first
time, this book describes stuff you need to know.
