Database merging ???

Hello all,

First post from a new stuent of this so please excuse me if I have placed this in the wrong place.

phpMyAdmin 2.7.0-pl2
phpNuke 7.6
phpBB 2.0.21

I have a forum on phpBB2 using a MySQL database(phpBB) complete with members and comments. I have now installed a fresh copy of phpNuke 7.6 using another database(Nuke) and would like to move the membership(phpBB) over to the new CMS(Nuke) complete with all their posts.

I asked for help with this on NukeCops and a guy gave me a script which will merge the two databases but I have to have the tables in the same database. He said quote, "Also the phpBB tables and nuke tables must be in the same database, or the script will not work." The prefixes are different and I understand what I need to do except the importing part.

It seems I need to add the phpBB tables(phpBB) into the Nuke database(Nuke) then run the script but Im new to using phpMyAdmin and would appreciate some guidance in importing the (phpBB) tables into (Nuke) database.

First you should upgrade your phpMyAdmin. But even with 2.7.0-pl2,
choose the source db, the source table, click Operations. There you can
copy this table to another database.
