The switch to Daylight Savings Time (DST) is approaching. As we are a global community is important to note that not everyone switches to DST at the same time; therefore, you may need to make special accommodations in scheduling meetings where some of the participants have switched and some have not. This year most of North America will switch on 8 March 2009, whereas most of Europe will do so later, on 29 March 2009, and much of Australia will switch even later, on 5 April 2009.
There are a variety of websites that can help you figure out what the correct meeting times are for various localities. Here's one I have found useful:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meeting.htmlThey also have a nice table of when places will switch this time around:
http://www.timeanddate.com/time/dst2009a.htmlNote that Collab, which is running Sakai 2.5, suffers from SAK-15781, so if you're looking at the Sakai Conference Bridge schedule, then be careful of how you interpret meeting times between 9 March and 5 April! The times maybe an hour off for you...
