Garv Deck for battledrome! Help needed!!!

hello everyone, after finishing third in a kick-off event and qualifying for the battledrome here, i have been thinking hard about my 6v6 constructed event deck.. After a few tries i have found something that i think has huge potential to not only control, but shut your opponent down. My stratagy is as follows: generate mugic with fluid morph, and swap them to either garv(!) or lobanne. Read my opponents setup and plan my supercharged alterant bonuses carefully as to avoid loosing any stat challenges. If my opponent is playing an elemental based stratagy, i utilize lobanne, prelude of protection, and most of all: elemental elegy(!).

Other tools at this decks disposal:
-viqtarr's ability. this hypatheticly works wonders against mepedian decks that stack massave invisability: strike.
-rhyme of the reckless does the same thing against evil lizard stacking damage up to 50-60.
-garv could easily turn key opposing battle gear face down (as could my two copies of gear grind.)
-part'soa, late game, posseses late game potential to lower opposing stats.
-two entropy modulators as well as, vial of liquid thought can be fliped in the back field and utilized

Now onto the deck list, any amount of advice or tips would be greatly appreciated; and i like to think i have a great deal of cards within my card pool. Thank you. :] and here... we.... GO!

Well there it is :] just my thoughts. and why you're reading this thread, i had some pressing ruling questions:

*First of all, does Viqtarr's ability happen at the start of every combat? or only the FIRST attack?? i have been playing it only once (per viqtarr) a game to be on the safe side, but this really concerns me.

*Next, i activated rhyme of the reckless on an attack that was delt to a creature, and my opponent responded with song of shelter. Rhyme of the reckless reads:

"When target attack controlled by an opponent resolves, deal X damage to target engaged creature where X is the damage that attack dealt." Would song of shelter be able to negate this? the question is, does rhyme of the reckless target just the attack, just the creature, or both?

*Finally, my opponent plays gear glissando targeting one of my battle gear. it reads, "Flip target battlegear face-up or face-down." Could i respond with Garv's ability, flipping the gear face-down first? does the opponent declare wheather they will flip it face-up or face-down, or is whatever action possible carried out.

I agree with WEB4K!DZ, the M'arrillian ability that would only allow the playing of Generic Mugic would override the Crown. Heptadd's Crown states that equipped creature may play Mugic from any Tribe, but Gan'Trak for example states that Minions you control may only play Generic Mugic, a global ability targeting all of your creatures that are Minions.

More than likely gan'trak would over-ride the crown. If he was in your army and a creature had the crown and mugic from other tribes, it would probably just make them un-selectable like when you are fighting at the Runic Grove location (where only generic mugic can be played).

Conflict between cards

If you havent already seen them, there are previews of the marrillian cards at http://chaoticoccasus.blogspot.com/ My issue is with the first real marrillian creature, gan'trak. Since he is a cheiftan, all minions in the same army use their brainwashed text, and they can only use generic mugic. What would happen if one of the minions had hepptad's crown as its battlegear? Which ability would override the other, gan'traks, or hepptads crown?

I know just the guy for you he`s an overworlder though. His name is Arbied he`s able to reduce damage on any attack . He`s able to do this by using mugic and he cannot be in mixed armies. Arbied only has element water as well. You can find him in chaotic wednes day rewards and the collection center.

I don't find that Marquis Darini is all that great. I have one. It's nice that his special helps the other Mipedians, but he has extremely low Energy so I have to hide him at the back of the Army which is somewhat annoying since he doesn't have any Mugic counters. He does have two Elements but I find that that doesn't work very well because if you are using Mipedians, most Mipedians have the Element Air and not Fire (Biondu is an exception) so you stack your Attack Deck with Air attacks so his Fire element is near useless. Finally, my Marquis Darini has horrible Discipline stats. Not just a little horrible, like, Bodal has better stats than him.

Yes, it's already been said. A Torwegg gives the Creature the ability Air 5, which means if you do an Air attack, it has 5 extra damages tacked on.

It would make sense to have Range 1 or Speed increased. But then people would want those type of additions to other Battle Gear. For example, there is at least one piece of Battle Gear that gives "5" for each Element (Air 5, Water 5, Earth 5, and Fire 5). Air 5 is the Torwegg, Water 5 is the Torrent Krinth, Earth 5 is the Vlaric Shard, and Fire 5 is the Viledriver. Now, if Torwegg had a Speed increase, people would want a Power increase with the Vlaric Shard, or Wisdom with the Torrent Krinth, or Speed increase with the Viledriver. Every Battle Gear that is that similar to each other, has to be as fair and equal as possible.
