Hello, Cargo users.
Continuing to support Orion 1 and 2x is proving difficult in part due to its unreliable website:
http://www.orionserver.com/distributions. It is moreover difficult as the libraries in Orion 1.x are so old that they are not compatible with modern database drivers such as Derby. Tomcat 3.x complicates the codebase as it is configured differently then version 4 on.
I would like to remove support for orion1x, orion2x, and tomcat3x in the 1.0 release. This will reduce complexity of our code and make us less dependent on unreliable resources.
If you would like this to happen, please vote for
CARGO-670. If you need support for these old containers, please reply back within one week with which of the three configurations is important to you.
