Delay of volume change from replaygain, possibe solution rgvolume

Hi

i recognized that there is still an annoying delay when using replaygain in banshee. The replaygain is applied with a delay of about 2 seconds to the current song.

I tried using the gst plugin rgvolume instead of the banshee implementation and the delay disappeared.

Question: Why is rgvolume not used in banshee? Should i prepare a patch?

Regards
Christian

Hi me (and anyone who is interested),

i posted a patch in bugzilla regarding the replaygain issue:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=600072

Additionally the patch removes the delay for the normal volume control
by using the gstreamer volume plugin.

Regards
Christian
