Dell XPS m1530 - Problems with Resume after suspend/hibernate

I haven't been able to get my Dell XPS m1530 to resume properly after
suspend/hibernate. I filed a bug on launchpad
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/366264) a month
ago and have been trying to get help from people on #ubuntu,
#ubuntu-kernel, and #ubuntu-bugs to help me triage and work on this
bug. I've done some testing based on what I've dug up on the wiki, but
I'm not sure what to do next.

Is the laptop testing team the right place to go for help with this
bug? Is there another forum that would be more appropriate?

Thanks,

Hi Robinson,

Taking a look at Canonical's certified hardware (
http://webapps.ubuntu.com/certification/ ) the m1530 has not been
officially certified for Ubuntu (only the m1330). If you are running the
nvidia binary driver, try disabling it in System > Administration >
Hardware Drivers and then reboot and test suspend.

There are more bugs which deal with suspend on the m1530:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/354424
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/324031
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/360289
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/362889

There are a few fixes/workarounds listed, but they most likely don't
apply to Jaunty:

http://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Dell/XPSm1530
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/InstallingUbuntuOnADellXPSM1530#Fixing%20Suspend%20(S3)

Hope this helps,
